Fifth Annual Cory Holly Classic 2021 Meet Summary
In spite of Interior Region COVID restrictions that almost cancelled the event, city-wide fire alerts and smoke hazard warnings, seven new records were established in the Fifth Annual Cory Holly Track and Field Classic August 28th at the Greater Vernon Athletic Park.
The weather turned out to be warm and thankfully, free of smoke.

Monica Pomietlarz, age 63, of West Kelowna, set a new BC record in the W60 javelin, with a fine toss of 29.64m
27 athletes from across BC ranging in age from 10 to 92 attended the event. Thanks very much to all the athletes, staff, volunteers, coaches and officials for helping make this local community event a tremendous success.
