Dr. Michael Colgan: The Einstein of Sports Nutrition

Dr. Colgan is an internationally renowned research scientist and is acknowledged as one of the foremost experts on the inhibition of aging. He lectures world-wide and is the author of many excellent books.

From 1971 to 1980, Dr. Colgan was a senior member of the Science Faculty of the University of Auckland, where he taught in Human Sciences and in the Medical School and conducted research on aging and physical performance.

Dr. Colgan is the founder and Chairman of the Colgan Institute. The Institute is a consulting, educational and research facility concerned with the effects of nutrition, exercise and environmental influences on athletic performance, the prevention of degenerative disease and the prevention of degeneration of the brain.

In 2011 Dr. Colgan was pleased to partner with Isagenix International to join with their scientific research team to find nutritional products that would help slow aging. Along with the Isagenix team headed by Dr. Suk Cho, Dr. Colgan has developed the Isagenix Brain Support System which was launched in August 2012.

Dr. Colgan's nutritional advice and scientific expertise are utilized throughout the CSNA education program.
